Noooooooo I do not want this semester to be ended!!! It feels just we just met even we have been through this journey together for almost 4 months. The fact that today is our last class even two hours feel like 20 minutes, though. So Dr promised us that we were going to talk about Microsoft Excel today. I have used Microsoft Excel before, so I am quite familiar with the functions. I used Microsoft Excel before to record marks or any types of data but surprisinglyyyyy I have not using it wisely enough since Microsoft Excel can work on its own brilliantly. Such a lame gen-Z I am I must admit it haha so after a brief explanation from Dr. Fariza, I believe that I can now use Microsoft Excel to record anything in a short amount of time.
I made a silly mistake when I made another Grade Table without realizing that it was under the same row of Total Marks I had at the very left of my data table analysis. So I could not move the Grade Table since it has been defined with the grades I had in the first table. I could not remove the Grade Table since it has been defined according to the row of the first table. But, nothing to worry about! With the power of this brain (omg hahaha) I figured out way to fix it without re-doing the whole table from scratch. I just simply made a new Grade Table then I defined it again. Well of course, I need to delete the grades I have already have there but it is so much better rather than re-do everything, right? Hehe so finally I got to remove the first Grade Table and happily have a new one! Exciting? Yes, I am! Could not be any happier (that’s pretty over the top). Moving on, Dr. Fariza asked us to figure out more function we can do with Microsoft Excel including the rank of students’ marks and the analysis of each and every subject we have in our table. Well, I can do that. It is always our job as a student to figure out things by ourselves so that we can learn by experience.
Our class today continued with video presentation (except for that one ‘special’ group that already presented their Powtoon haha). My group was the one who presented ours first. To be honest, I am not confident enough about the result of our video since we did not have anything that is original except for the short review. Izza, which is one of our classmates did mention about that and we could not agree more. She is right hehe surprisingly Dr. Fariza did not mention anything about the video we got from YouTube. She just requested us to do extra review on the moral value that we can gain from the video itself since it is a very powerful video. We said yes and of course will improve our video. What had I learnt from others’ presentation is that we should really concern about the volume quality of the video when we record ourselves talking. We have to give extra attention during editing session. We have to make sure that the video volume is high enough so that the audiences can hear without wondering what the video is all about.
Moreover, I also learnt that we need to aware of the surrounding of the place that we are going to shoot our video at. Pay attention to the distractions from the sounds around us just in case it will distract audiences’ from focusing on the point that will be pointed out during the video presentation. One thing about today’s presentation is that Dr. Fariza expected more than what we have presented to her. My heart sank to the deepest land on earth. I know, we were not good enough but I promised you, Dr (of course you will be reading this right hehe) that I will improve everything so that I will soon come up with a great video (touching moment).
Oh that is a pretty long reflection. Of course, it is the last day of this semester. I do not know when will we going to have Dr. Fariza as our lecturer again (sobs sobs). I need to meet her up personally later since I want to know more about her experiences studying abroad and got to explore so many countries. Envy, I am haha but it is being jealous in a good way though.
So, the results of my Microsoft Excel assignment as well as my group’s video are in the Assignment section. This is the very last reflection of mine, thank you so much for reading this section from week 2 until today, week 14. I will still updating the other sections I got in my Weebly though! Good bye <3 Oh by the way, we got souvenirs from Dr!!! There are notebook as well as a pen!!! Such a beautiful notebook of Nottingham Universityyyyy eiiiii I love it (thanks Dr. Fariza hohoho) Okay once again, bye guyss I am going to miss writing reflections :( huhu
